The development of information technology has increased the demand for internet, leading to the growth of WiFi hotspot businesses, including in Bantek Hamlet, Suralaga District. This business presents an economic opportunity for the community, but the growing number of businesses creates intense competition and impacts their income. This study, using qualitative methods through interviews, observation, and documentation, involved three business owners: Mr. Faisal (Faisal Net), Mr. Atep (Arti Sholawat Net), and Ms. Miratulhijah (Wafaq Hotspot). The results indicate that the competition is monopolistic, meaning the services offered are nearly identical but differ in network quality, price, and service. The impact varies; some experience increased revenue due to maintaining service quality, while others experience decreased revenue due to high operational costs, limited customers, and technical constraints such as network disruptions. Overall, this competition drives improvements in service quality, but also presents challenges for small businesses, requiring better management strategies to ensure continued business continuity and profitability.
