Pengembangan Media APTIK (Aplikasi Pembelajaran Tematik) Berbasis Lingkungan Sekitar Untuk Siswa Kelas III Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The development of mobile phone technology and the high interest of students in using new learning media can help students' learning activities both at school and at home. Researchers chose to develop learning media using Android mobile phones which are commonly used by students. This research aims to determine the suitability of the media and the practicality of using APTIK (Thematic Learning Application) learning media to help the learning activities of grade 3 elementary school students in understanding the material in Theme 3 Subtheme 1 "Various Objects Around Me". 

The research uses research and development (R&D) methods. The results of expert validation are as follows, media expert validator with a percentage value of 82% in the "Decent" category, material expert validator with a percentage value of 87% in the "Decent" category, language expert validator with a percentage value of 90% in the category “Very Worth It”. To find out the practicality of using media, a direct trial was carried out on 4 teachers and 10 students. Based on the practicality test using the teacher's readability questionnaire, it was found that it was 93% in the "Very Practical" category, and the student readability questionnaire got a percentage of 100% in the "Very Practical" category.
