Sikap Tuan Guru Terhadap Bank Syariah (Studi Sikap Ulama di Lombok Timur Nusa Tenggara Barat)

Abstract

To optimize and accelerated growth in market share of Islamic banking in the country which is still below 5% must have the support of all circles both governments, scholars, and the banks themselves.
In Lombok scholars calling themselves is Tuan Guru has a strategic role in disseminating Islamic banks. Tuan Guru has a lot of followers or worshipers. Their presence is very idolized and followed by his followers, the motto is sami'na wa atho'na, I hear and obey, as if a reference in the congregation together, so it is not wrong if it is said to support Tuan Guru be enough potential to introduce and optimize the development of Islamic banks in the community.
So exciting for writers to learn about the host teacher attitudes towards Islamic banks in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Focus of study who wish to study is how the Tuan Guru attitudes towards Islamic banks in terms of their understanding of Islamic banks, confidence, and financial management. Besides, it also factors that influence the use and Tuan Guru do not use the Islamic banks.
Population and sample the object of the respondents in this study is the Tuan Guru in east Lombok. The total sample of 15 people by random sampling. techniques of data collection using observation and interviews were then analyzed qualitatively.
This study concluded that the inconsistency of attitude in addressing the Tuan Guru of Islamic banks. One indicator visible from the Tuan Guru attitudes expressly disclaims interest in the bank but still Tuan Guru applications using conventional banking services. While the primary factor and not use the host using Islamic banks is the understanding of the operational factors of Islamic banks, offices factors, policy factors and religious factors.
