Pengaruh Kegiatan Kolase Terhadap Perkembangan Motorik Halus Pada Anak Usia Dini Di Tk Al Amanah Nw Karya

Abstrak

This research was motivated by the limited mastery of fine motor skills among children aged 5–6 years at Al Amanah NW Karya Kindergarten. The primary issue identified was the students’ poor finger coordination during early academic activities, such as cutting, pasting materials, and holding writing instruments correctly. This condition was triggered by a lack of variation in manipulative learning media focusing on small hand muscle stimulation. This study aimed to empirically examine the effectiveness of collage activities on children’s fine motor development. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design (One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design) was applied. The research subjects included all 15 children in Group B, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured observation instrument (checklist) that had been tested for content validity and reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha. Computational data analysis involved descriptive statistical tests, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, N-Gain effectiveness analysis, and a paired sample t-test. The results confirmed an increase in the children’s average fine motor ability from 42.3 (low category) in the pretest to 78.6 (high category) after the treatment (posttest). Hypothesis testing yielded a calculated t-value of 16.84, which significantly exceeded the t-table value of 2.145 (alpha = 0.05; df = 14) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.
