This study aims to assess the understanding of students in the Islamic Guidance and Counseling (BPI) Study Program at UIN Jakarta regarding mental health, its management strategies, and the extent to which Islamic values and campus counseling services are utilized. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews with five active BPI students. The results showed that students have a fairly broad understanding of mental health and have developed emotional coping strategies . Islamic values such as dhikr and prayer are also part of the spiritual strategies used to maintain emotional stability. However, utilization of campus counseling services such as the BPI Clinic is still relatively low due to a lack of information and a preference for confiding in friends. These findings demonstrate the importance of strengthening Islamic-based mental health literacy and optimizing campus services to support student readiness as prospective counselors
