Factors That Influence Sexual Violence Against Children

Sexual violence against minors is a serious challenge in child protection, affecting their well-being, rights, and development. This issue is not only individual but also highlights the need for collective efforts to prevent and address sexual violence. This phenomenon is increasingly worrying, especially in the era of globalization, which facilitates access to information and technology, which also increases the risk of sexual violence against children. Research into the factors influencing sexual violence against children was conducted using library research using Google Scholar. Library research is a method with a focus similar to a literature review. Based on the literature review on the phenomenon of sexual violence, it can be concluded that this issue remains prevalent in society, especially involving children. Sexual violence is usually perpetrated by adults against minors. One of the main factors causing sexual violence against children is their inability to resist, both physically and mentally
