The Role of LBH Yogyakarta in Providing Mental Health Support for Victims of Violence

Abstract

Forensic mental health counseling is one of the areas in counseling related to legal issues, and cases of violence are cases that often involve mental and legal issues. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of LBH Yogyakarta in providing mental assistance for victims of violence. The research method used was qualitative with data collection in two ways, namely through library research and interviews. Meanwhile, the results of the study, namely LBH Yogyakarta provides mental assistance for clients who are victims of violence and for clients who need further mental assistance will be transferred to institutions that are partners of LBH Yogyakarta, namely LPSK and Rifka Annisa. Both institutions provide services of psychologists or counselors who will accompany the victims
