Al-Birru: Jurnal Keuangan dan Perbankan Syariah (E-ISSN: 2829-5366) is a biannual, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published in January and July by the Sharia Banking Study Program, Faculty of Sharia, Institut Agama Islam Hamzanwadi NW Pancor, Indonesia. The journal is committed to provide a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to disseminate high-quality research and engage in critical academic discussions on contemporary issues in Islamic finance and Sharia banking. It welcomes original research articles, conceptual studies, and empirical analyses that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the field.
The journal particularly encourages research on emerging and strategic issues in Islamic finance and banking, including digital transformation and financial technology, Islamic financial inclusion, financial literacy, sustainable and socially responsible finance, Shariah governance, risk management, Islamic banking products and services, Islamic financial institutions, and innovation in Islamic financial practices. The journal also welcomes studies that contribute to the development of inclusive, ethical, sustainable, and resilient Islamic financial systems.
Al Birru: Journal of Islamic Finance and Banking accepts manuscripts written in both English and Indonesian to broaden accessibility and enhance the visibility and scholarly impact of published research at national and international levels. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars and researchers with diverse academic backgrounds and promotes interdisciplinary dialogue to strengthen the academic quality, relevance, and global contribution of its publications.
